Carter is the first transgender character to appear in LICD. He transitioned from female to male at some point since last seen in 2003. He was born as Cyndi Wang and dated Rayne before coming out as trans[1]. He and Rayne reconnect in 2017 by a chance meeting in a coffee shop. He reveals himself to Rayne by repeating a punchline Rayne told his father.
